Zoé is a queer filmmaker dedicated to stories that weave together impact, community engagement and radical change. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with the Women in Film award in 2016. Her short films have screened in New York, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Whistler, Seattle and Montreal. She had her directorial debut with her STORYHIVE music video for Stó:lõ artist, Á'a:líya, which centres female Indigenous empowerment. Zoé has Produced dozens of impactful projects in the last 5 years – including a Super Bowl Commercial featuring Lil Nas X and with a full BIPOC cast and crew, as well as a Girls Inc. agency video that helped to generate $70,000.

She believes success looks like a deep, meaningful conversation between the filmmaking team, the participants and the audience, creating long-lasting impact and on-going discussion. Zoé currently lives on Coast Miwok land, in a very small community nestled on the coast.
